STAGE THREE

Santa Rosa to Sebastopol

Walk from historic Santa Rosa to Sebastopol through neighborhoods, open landscapes, and the changing rhythms of town, trail, and countryside.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

What to Wear:

Clothing choices will depend on the weather so please check the weather forecast before you start each stage.  Generally on Stage 3, mornings are cool and afternoons can be warmer.  In the winter, rain coats and hats may be needed.  Layers will be important.  Hiking boots and poles are not generally needed.  A good hat and sunglasses are a must.  

What to Bring 

Bring a daypack, water, snacks, lunch, blister kit, first aid kit, extra socks…

Mary's Pizza Shack Parking Lot

Opening Circle begins at 8:00 am.

FINISH 
3:30 pm 

Sebastopol Town Center

Estimated 13 miles and 150 ft elevation gain/loss, walking poles are not necessary.  We’ll walk through Santa Rosa, stopping at Flat Rock and Downtown Santa Rosa, and follow the Joe Rodota Trail to Sebastopol.

CARPOOLING

7:15 am 

Sebastopol Town Center- Park on McKinley St. across from the Rialto Theater and meet Guides there.  

Meet guides who will be here to assist pilgrims in finding carpools back to the Stage on McKinley St. across from the Rialto Theater.  

PARKING

LUNCH STOP

A Place to Play- West 3rd St. Santa Rosa, Ca.

Pack a lunch, snack and water and/or beverage(s).  Food and water will be available for purchase at Safeway in Santa Rosa, Land/Water Coffee in Downtown Santa Rosa.

BATHROOM STOPS

Time: Morning, Lunch & Afternoon
Porta Potty in  Mary’s Parking Lot, Safeway Santa Rosa
Land/Water Coffee, A Place to Play, Sebastopol Town Center

There will be a Porta-Potty in the parking lot behind Mary’s Pizza Shack and many stops along the way.
