What to Wear:
Clothing choices will depend on the weather so please check the weather forecast before you start each stage. Generally on Stage 5, mornings are cool and afternoons can be warmer. In the winter, rain coats and hats may be needed. Layers will be important. Hiking boots and poles are recommened. A good hat and sunglasses are a must.

Bring a daypack, water, snacks, lunch, blister kit, first aid kit, extra socks, hiking poles...

Jenner Visitor Center
Walk from Occidental to Jenner on a challenging 14.5-mile route from Coleman Valley Road through Willow Creek State Park, with Pacific Ocean views, redwood groves, the Russian River at Bridgehaven, and a final stretch along Highway 1 to the Jenner Visitor Center.
