Estimated 13 miles and 150ft elevation gain, walking poles are not necessary. We’ll begin at the parking lot and walk down Montgomery Dr with a slight detour on Yulupa Ave to pause at Flat Rock where we’ll open our pilgrim circle for the day.. After our reflection time we’ll follow Santa Rosa Creek to St. Eugene’s church and back down Montgomery Dr through downtown Santa Rosa and into Old Courthouse Square. We’ll continue towards Luther Burbank home and garden and honor the healing of divisions, the history of Santa Rosa, and the importance of connection in our communities. We’ll then walk through Prince Memorial Greenway and pick up the creek trail to A Place to Play (on W. 3rd Street) where we’ll pause for lunch. We’ll conclude our day by traversing Hwy 12 on Fulton Ave and turn West on Joe Rodota Trail to take us into downtown Sebastopol. Pilgrims usually find their way to Crooked Goat nearby in the Barlow for a refreshing beverage and/or pub grub, and to enjoy table fellowship post-walk. Walking surfaces are dirt and rock trails, sidewalks and paths.
> Food: PACK A LUNCH, snack and water and/or beverage. Lunch will be at A Place to Play Park in Santa Rosa. There are a few opportunities to purchase snacks and drinks through downtown Santa Rosa.
