The Camino de Sonoma is a HEALING path, stretching 75 miles from The Mission in Sonoma to the Mission at Metini (commonly known as Fort Ross). The entire route takes 6 stages to complete, but you’re welcomed to walk any stage any time.

Start time location & End point: 8:30am at Trione-Annadel State Park entrance at Lawndale. End point Parktrail entrance (12:30pm eta - tbd group walk speed)

Estimated 8 miles and 1,200ft elevation gain, poles are suggested.
Our opening circle and reflection begin at the parking lot entrance before we ascend up the mountain and stop to appreciate the Redwoods, many charred from our fires. We’ll snake through the hillside on Marsh and Ridge Trails before heading down to Lake Ilsanjo via Canyon Trail, past the damn and out of the park via Spring Creek Trail.
Walking surfaces will be entirely dirt and rock. Reminder: arrange your own rides/carpools from the end point.

> Restrooms: one opportunity in the park for a port-a-potty, otherwise please pack personal wilderness potty needs in your daypack, just in case.
