Kenwood to

Santa Rosa

Walk from Kenwood to Santa Rosa through the natural beauty of Trione-Annadel State Park, surrounded by oak woodlands, rolling hills, lake views, and peaceful trails.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

What to Wear:

Clothing choices will depend on the weather so please check the weather forecast before you start each stage.  Generally on Stage 2, mornings are cool and afternoons can be warmer.  In the winter, rain coats and hats may be needed.  Layers will be important. Hiking boots and poles are recommended for Stage 2.  A good hat and sunglasses are a must.  

What to Bring 

Bring a daypack, water, snacks, lunch, blister kit, first aid kit, extra socks, hiking poles

Views of Sonoma Valley, Mayacama Mountains, Redwood groves, Spring Creek, Lake San Iljoe Spring Lake, Howarth Park

Opening Circle begins at 8:00 am.

FINISH

Mary’s Pizza Shack Parking Lot

Estimated 14.5 miles and 1,360ft elevation gain/loss, walking poles are helpful through Trione-Annadel State Park.  We’ll enter the park via the Lawndale entrance and hike through Trione-Anadel State Park to Howarth Park and end our day's journey in the parking area behind Mary's Pizza  

CARPOOLING

Mary’s Pizza Shack Parking Lot 

Guides will be here to assist pilgrims in finding carpools back to the start of Stage 2 at Kenwood Market.  Parking for carpooling in the parking lot behind Mary’s Pizza Shack at 535 Summerfield Road in Santa Rosa.

The parking lot is behind Mary’s Pizza Shack at 535 Summerfield Rd., Santa Rosa 95405.

LUNCH STOP

Trione-Anadel State Park 

Pack a lunch, snack and water and/or beverage(s).  Lunch stop will be along the trail in Trione-Anadel State Park.  There are no water stops available in the park.

BATHROOM STOPS
